Our Story
A legacy grown on a steep hillside
We are not a brand that discovered coffee. We are a family that never stopped making it.
Where It Begins
Cidra, Puerto Rico
The road to the farm is still one lane wide. In the morning the clouds sit below the trees, and by noon the hillside smells like wet earth and ripe cherries.
Our great-grandfather chose this land because it was cheap and difficult. Coffee grew well there, and the difficulty became a habit that turned into a standard: pick only what is ripe, roast only what you can taste, sell only what you would serve at your own table.
When our grandparents started giving coffee to neighbors, they wrote nothing down. What survived was a way of doing things — patient, generous, unhurried. That is the legacy we bag.

How We Roast
Small batches, tasted by hand
Every lot is roasted in batches small enough to taste before it is bagged. We cup each roast the same morning it comes out of the drum, and anything that is not right goes back to the farm as compost — not into a bag with our family’s name on it.
